Release v2.13.0

Multiple languages on the storefront

Written by Andrey Gadashevich

🚀 New features

👉 Editable texts for the Split pop-up, button, and badge

The Split payments page is now split into Settings and Design tabs, and the Design tab lets you edit every customer-facing text of the split experience — no more fixed English wording.

What to know:

  • Three collapsible sections — Pop-up, Button, and Badge — each with its own Style and Content blocks

  • Pop-up: tab labels (Multiple / Shared payment), per-payment labels, recipient and email labels, shipping, subtotal, add payment, cancel and save buttons

  • Button: label and tooltip

  • Badge: title, order label, payment label, and the icon symbol

  • Variables are supported where they make sense, e.g. {{number}}, {{recipient number}}, {{order number}}, {{payment number}}

  • A live preview sits next to the settings and updates as you type — switch between the pop-up, button, and badge surfaces to check each one

  • Design and texts are saved together in a single save bar

Note: Nothing changes on your storefront until you edit a text. Any field left as-is keeps its current default wording.

👉 Multiple languages on the storefront

If your store sells in more than one language, you can now translate the app's storefront texts yourself instead of being limited to a single set of labels.

What to know:

  • Add languages in Settings → Languages — pick from the catalog, up to 10 languages. English is the base language and can't be removed

  • A translate icon appears next to every translatable field. Click it to open a dialog with an EN row plus one row per language you've added

  • Covers the full Split Design content (modern and classic pop-up, button, badge) and all customer-facing texts on Partial payments and the cart page: offer titles and descriptions, full payment title and description, discount labels, payment options title, badge label, cart line item, discount title, and the installment message

  • On the storefront, the correct language is chosen automatically from the language the shopper is browsing in. If there's no translation for that language, English is used

  • Removing a language deletes its translations — we ask for confirmation first

Note: Existing stores are unaffected. Until you add a language and enter translations, every text renders exactly as it does today.
